boys are more trouble than they're worth

hey hey hey. today was like, a totally FRONT-PAGE-NEWSPAPER-WORTHY day! wanna know why? i'll tell ya why! it's because: I WENT OUT TO TOWN ALL BY MYSELF. yes, you can go WHOA now. for the uninformed, i'm the kind who needs a pal to go anywhere. yes, i really do mean anywhere. like, even the toilet that's only five steps away.

the day started out with a wedding. how fun right! NOT. i mean, honestly, it was my MUM'S side. hence the blah-ness. on the other hand i do soo lo-ooooo-ve weddings on the father's side. that's where all the bitchy gossipy teens/aunts/grandaunts/uncles/kiddies, fun cousins, scandalous stories, HAWT guys are. basically, that's where all the drama is. woohoo.

after, daddy dearest(note the italics) dropped me off in town to get the dress. all by my lonesome-self. after getting my dress i reeeally didn't wanna go home. like, so wasted right. so after many msgs/phonecalls to many ppl who simply weren't free (assholes!), i made the very much out-of-character decision to shop alone.

it was a suprisingly awesome experience. like, it wasn't as bad as i thought it'd be. i felt soooo empowered and liberated k! and independent and all that jazz. POWERRR TO ME!(: and boy did i shop. went to zara, wisma, then headed down to cityhall: raffles city, citylink mall, marina square. felt sooo amazing i tell ya! (although this experience would not be possible without the iphone. i swear plug in those headsets and you're ready to gooo.) hah!
had a drink at starbucks and drew came. sat/walked around a bit.
and theeeeen. made drew leave cause faith came! poor kid. haha. ate at newyork2. i tell you, chris seems to know everyone. watch out, mafia boss in the making!

went home after. gal pals, don't worry! this newly-found independence doesn't mean i don't need ya anymore. you KNOW i still need you to go to the toilet, that's only five steps away.
