cliches

You are the lighthouse, the seamark
The tempests
created this tide
I'm pulled to the black silver ocean
where the current and the heavens collide

You are the brick
I am so unpredictable
led by the current away
Your solid stage is so necessary to save
all those who stray

You are the navigator who never could lead
we were lost in the silver sea
I was the ship who was too proud to ever sink.

I am your thought but the water is amnesia
my name is on the tip of your tongue
My image is slipping
but your memory is gripping it
this is my breath in your lungs

You are the navigator who never could lead
we were lost in the silver sea
I was the ship who was too proud to ever
sink.

Echo, my voice is an echo
of places I don't know
and stories I've been told

Echo. We all are connected
a lighthouse a voyage
for history's sake,
will you please take notice?

Echo by The Hush Sound. Current stuck-in-my-head.

Yesterday was fun. It was a short school day but I dillydallied in school for a bit with classmates who were gonna go off to play L4D, Couldn't decide whether to go home and change first or meet Vada and Faith in town for our first (of many) visit to Ion. In the end, I decided against rushing home and back again cause I was too lazy. Dragged Juls along, scared Va at her house (the lying twerp! Hah, your scream was loud enough to scare that crazy lady at your block) then met Faith in the bus, where I continued being a public nuisance.

Ion was a-mazing, bumped into Amy and her friend Jo, took a polaroid at the smexxxy hot picture of Eva Mendez and some male model. Mmm, delish. You could tell that Faith and Va were swept up into the magic that is Ion as they went into crazy shopper mode. Especially Faith. Juls and I left topshop for the longest time only to come back to find them at the exact same spot where we left them. Crazy girls.

Juls left after dinner to go back to PP. We continued our wide-eyed exploration into the rest of Ion with butter and sugar crepe and mango strudel with custard filling for company. Happy tummies :)

I'm now gonna to try to religiously start saving money. I hope it happens, considering how I have negative five dollars now. Don't ask. Left before Faith went off to Zouk with some girl who was wearing the same dress as her! >:( Let's just say she wasn't too pleased. Hahaha.

Four am phone calls never bring good news. But I hope you enjoyed the surprise today though, and that things will be settled once and for all!
